New Letters

Like most people in my past, I remember you with a mixture of wistfulness and embarrassment. Part of me wishes I could go back in time and appreciate your kindness and good taste in music. Your vegetarianism. Like most people, you were actually so much cooler and more interesting than me. Instead, my wanting you was wrapped in my needs for softness and entanglement. Then, in a Texas snowstorm, I treated you terribly.

Sincerely,
Previous & Next
