It's been hard to muster anything akin to meaningful self-reflection these days. There's always a fine line between helpful self analysis and narcissism, but this block doesn't seem helpful. I feel like I should be focusing on parenthood and hoping to succeed where my parents failed (and continue to do so). Instead, I'm focused on making money and trying to make sure that you will have nice days with both parents, unworried and loving.
