It's unfortunate how it seems the only way I can be productive writing songs is by spending thousands of dollars to attend classes that I might wind up largely ignoring. Regardless, that's the way it pans out. And it's not like I'm cranking out lines and lines of pure gold here, but I am easily filling pages with ideas, snippets, words to find synonyms for. While I hope that they don't ultimately seem trite or flat, I'm not too worried about it. I do enjoy the flash in the pan while it happens. If that means I get one good line, then that's fine by me.
