I never pack the night before. I always figure that that next morning I'm probably going to need something that I might have packed. Of course, I never do. But this morning I woke up an hour earlier than I needed to.

So, I'm packed and in that frame of mind that keeps me from really doing anything before I leave - traveller's limbo. The lights and T.V. are off. My shoes are laced tight. The dishes are all done and put away and the apartment is fairly clean. It's like I'm sitting in someone else's place, waiting for them to come home.
